I want my Revlon Colorstay in Caramel

Sorry, I haven’t posted on this blog in recent times. If you can read French, check out my other blog on hair care. It’s in French because there are so many of those in English. I wanted to offer my French-speaking ladies some info on what I’ve learned in one year of hair care.

Anyways… The reason for my blog is that I am pissed… PISSED!!!!! Yes, indeed. A few years ago, I discovered the Revlon Colorstay foundation. I fell in love… This foundation was THE best I had ever used. It made my skin glow, matched my skin tone PERFECTLY, went on smooth, and gave great coverage while still looking amazingly natural.

Unfortunately, they stopped selling my shade where I live. I am without a doubt filled with disappointment and anger.

What???? Black women don’t buy makeup? We can’t use good drugstore makeup? I don’t get it. I have searched high and low and every time I go to a pharmacy or to Walmart or a similar store, I always go and check to see if they came back to their senses and ordered some.

They used to sell three shades for black women: Caramel, Cappuccino, and Mahogany. Now, they only sell the lighter shades (for non-blacks). Please tell me why.

I have to go to the USA to get my shade. It’s a little out of the way for me and the last time I went across the border, I completely forgot to buy the foundation.

The other thing that happened to me is that I thought I was saved when I saw that my Walmart was selling Revlon Photo Ready foundation back in January or February. I really don’t like it. It does not match my skin, it gives you a white halo in pictures. I hate it!

I really wish I wasn’t treated like I didn’t matter by those big companies. Really, what’s the deal???? I want my Revlon Colorstay foundation in Caramel and I want it ASAP.
